The Ten Thousand Doors of January

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow     ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Where to even start? This was another book club pick and I feel like I am testing the fate of the book gods with all these five star reads. January is an in-between kind of girl. She doesn’t really belong to any particular place. She has been told that her father showed up, with her as a baby in a bundle, at a rich man’s house looking for a job. Mr. Locke, the ever gracious gentleman, took them in, raising January as his own and sending her father to far off places for valuables to add to his collection. Laced with danger and magic, Harrow drags you into a world of her own making.  The door in the photo is actually a photo album with pictures from my childhood. I think childhood is a magic of its own. The world changes as you grow and you never really view the world the same.  QOTD: What is your favorite childhood memory?
